Wednesdays are the never ending day for me. I am sooo tired by the end of them I can't keep my eyes open half of the time to drive us home from church.
This may sound hateful but I really am looking forward to the summer break when church ends!
I am trying to "stay in the spirit", "grin and bear it" but it is seriously rough for me. There is no class for the little guy and we seriously go because it is a meal a week I don't have to cook and Leanna has her friends there on Wednesday night. I know it is important and all but man is it getting rough. So this week (well what is left of it that is) I am praying for peace, calmness, adrenaline and sadly (I know I shouldn't but I am being open and honest here) the finish line.
Hope ya'lls weeks are rocking it! And well just because I can a picture....

Playdoh
I was busy working on cleaning the house a weekend or two ago, when Hudson came up and batted his ridiculous lashes at me and asked if him and sissy could play playdoh pleaaaasssse (must witness to understand its effectiveness). So I told them if they promised to keep it on the table and not fight about it..."Mommy will get it out".
They spent 4 1/2 hours playing with the stuff. I finally had to tell them I was ready to make dinner and it was time to put it away. It was insane and awesome! I only had to remind them to "be kind" once during the entire time.Which accounts for the unending battle of siblings that occurred the rest of the evening. I did however manage to grab a few pictures in between mopping and dusting (YUCK!)
Here they are...

Fun with Friends...
Updated to add: I started this ohhhhh a month ago! So a little late but here ya go....
We were very lucky that last week we got to spend some time with our friends the Good's. We were able to go and see a movie with them.
I must preface this with. I was nervous. Hudson had never been to see a movie before and I was worried he wouldn't make it through. Leanna she has been to movies since she was one but Hudson well... he is my boy and sitting still doesn't happen when I expect it to just yet. I thought just maybe the movie Bolt would be enough fun and explosions to keep him intrigued.
He surprised me. Other than needing to potty (he has only been potty trained for a little over a month now sooooo I have to take him when he asks NO MATTER WHAT) and wanting to talk to Lily during the movie. He was pretty awesome.
The movie was fun and Leanna talked about getting to sit next to her friend Lily at the big people movies for DAYS.
Some pictures of our fun time together (Thanks Sarah for inviting us out!)

Crock Pot Lasagna
My good friend Sarah has been asking me to give her the recipe for my Crockpot Lasgna and this is the first time I have had a moment to go over the recipes and I decided I really don't use a recipe anymore I just kinda wing it now. So Sarah here is my "winging it" version of crockpot lasagna and it is sooooo yummy!
* 8 (sometimes I use more cause Josh is a hungry man and Hudson well he eats like he is a man instead of a little boy and it makes leftover then)lasagna noodles, uncooked
* 1 lb. ground beef (or less if you don't like as much meat and sometimes I have used ground turkey too)
* Seasonings - Bay Leaves (about 2), Italian Seasoning a sprinkle, some basil, some garlic and onion powder, a smidge of thyme, and some salt and pepper)
* 28 oz. spaghetti sauce I use about a can to a can and a half of Hunts or whatever I have on hand)
* 1/3 cup water (Add a little more water if you use more noodles)
* 15 oz. ricotta cheese (sometimes I use it sometimes I don't)
* 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese or Italian Blend or Colby Jack whatever is your favorite sometimes I mix in a little swiss cause well it is yummy)
* To make it a little richer and creamier I will pinch off little pieces of cream cheese and randomly add them to the mixture this is sooo yummy)
1. Break noodles; Place half in bottom of greased slow cooker.
2. Brown ground beef in sauce pan, drain, stir in seasoning. Spread half over noodles in slow cooker.
3. Layer half of sauce and water, half of ricotta cheese, and half of mozzarella cheese over beef. (Add pinches of cream cheese randomly on this step) Repeat Layers.
4. Cover, cook on low 5 hours.
It is soo delicious. I can only make it on the weekends right now because we are gone during the day for longer than five hours. I really want one of those programmable crock pots cause well they are awesome! Hopefully Josh will see this and think birthday/anniversary/Christmas present???
Enjoy this Good family it is delicious and definitely doesn't disappoint!

Siblings...
There are moments when I look at my children and think how will I survive them?
Harsh words right? Not. I have two of the most perfectionist children in the world. Everything has to be just right all the time. I also happen to have a wonderful little mother hen (Leanna) and one of the most independent leave-me-alone and let me do it by myself (Hudson) people in the world. They are amazing. I love them.
That said... THEY DRIVE ME CRAZY.
Then we have a moment like this....
They really do get each other. They play. They laugh. They fight. They scream. They hug. They love.
I love me some moments like these. They make all of the "insane and crazy oh my Lord please help me survive this moment's", totally and completely worth it.
