Leanna's finished Easter dress.

It was a lot of work. Relearning my hemming skills. Once I really pounded it out (and ripped it apart twice) it turned out nice I think for the first time sewing in like 10 years so you know.

I finished it and she loved wearing her pretty polka dot dress. She kept spinning and touching it and flouncing her skirt. She acted very girly. Not something Leanna does on a regular basis.

It was a good Easter day. And just because I can and my son is so stinking cute. Here they are sitting outside together (Leanna had a jacket on cause well it was cold outside!

Tell me that isn't a handsome boy? Next time you see him ask him to wink at you. Better yet if he is wearing his hat let him greet you ladies. He tips his hat and says "Hi Ma'am". Yeah ladies anything he wants.

Hard decisions...

Hard decisions. They are everywhere nowadays aren't they? My family has had some pretty complicated ones come up here lately. I am not sure of the answers. Heck to be perfectly honest I am not sure of the questions yet. It sure doesn't make life any easier when you aren't sure what to even pray about.

People like to make other people feel wrong, insecure, bad and little. I don't understand why. Why? Does anybody no the answer to this question?

My kids are the most important thing to me in the world and that makes some of these hard decisions even harder. I am not sure what I am doing. Am I doing things right, am I wrong, do I need to do it different?

Frustrating. That is the word I am coming up with for my life right now. Confused. That's a good one too.

Heavy I know... I am sorry.

A park outing... from a while ago.

We have been very fortunate to get outside the past couple of weeks. I love playing outside with my kids. It is such an exhaust exciting adventure for everyone.

The kids are always so excited to be outside and my children. Well Leanna is the leader and Hudson he is my little acrobat and neither of them are afraid to try anything something dangerous fun.

Leanna in her purple shirt against the yellow flowers was sooo pretty.

Our shadows!

Hudson being his usual happy self. I have no idea what he was laughing at.

We had a great time and the weather was wonderful.

ETA: This of course was a few weeks ago!

Well I finally took the plunge...

I did it. Sarah, Casey you will be sooooo proud of me. I finally made my own laundry detergent. It was ridiculously easy and it works awesome.

I also made my own fabric softener. It was amazingly simple. Josh loves that it cleans the same as our beloved "store" stuff and smells just as good if not better. Cause now I control the smell not Gain!

It is wonderful... A few pictures...
Getting started.

Our new fabric softner, vinegar, water and VO5 conditioner Kiwi Melon. Smells just like Gain and sunshine!

Then well I am pregnant and I was hungry so I made myself some Mac-N-Cheese.

Mixing and chopping and turning it into a fine powder in the food processor.

The finished project and our new container. It is "HUGE" and takes up so much room. *winks*

Alive... and Well I think.

I have been very busy the past few weeks. I am hoping to update in the next few days of all of our crazy activities.

Most importantly though I have been growing a small person! Newest addition to the Brewer family shall arrive in October. I am not sick with this small person like I was with my previous two small people. I am however, EXHAUSTED. Nine o'clock hits and I am having a hard time keeping my eyes open. Matter a fact there have been a few moments (warning TMI alert) that by 8:30 Shay can be found in the recliner feet propped up with her head lagging and a small pool of drool gathering on her shirt. *Blushes*

We have had trips to the circus, birthday parties, Easter gatherings, play-dates along with so much more. All the craziness hasn't helped the exhaustion. Two small people certainly don't allow for lots of rest so bed time = early is definitely the answer for me right now.

Hopefully though that will be subsiding soon and I can get back to a regular schedule. I have TONS of stuff that needs to get done. Shopping, cleaning, organizing and catching up. So if anyone who reads this blog wants to "borrow" the small people that belong to me or just come over and assist in the catching up of things. Shay is not below/above asking/receiving help right now. *Grin*

I have missed blogging though and I am excited to get back to it. I am not talented in the writing department but it is an outlet that I do enjoy.

Hope you guys still occasionally check in and read. Cause (insert scary music here followed with evil laugh) I'm baaaaacccckkk!
