Not Me Monday

I haven't done this for while and I miss it. Also seeing as how I had some Doozies of Not Me's this week it seemed like the perfect time to start it back up. Check over at MckMama's for me Not Me's to laugh along with!

So without further ado I welcome you to a free mommy therapy session affectionately referred to as ....



I most certainly did not tell Hudson that if he would be still I would let him sleep in bed with me just so I could get the remaining 2 hours (out of 4) sleep without having to get him a cup of juice/water/milk or listen to him destroy play with everything he could get his hands on until I woke up. No my children always stay in their rooms in their beds until I arise graciously and in a great mood wishing the night had been longer and tell them it is time to wake up!

I did not catch Leanna picking her nose to have her tell me, "Mom sometimes they get stuck and you just can't blow them out." My daughter knows that that is disgusting and germy and just plain gross!

I did not tell Hudson that he could pee in the park behind a tree because there wasn't a stinking bathroom within a mile of where we were a place for him to go to the potty and he refused to put a pullup on and do his business in his pants. I would never allow much less assist in the act of public urination, even behind a tree.

I did not tell my children the other day that I was going to tie them together if they couldn't figure out how to play nicely together. Because my children always play wonderfully together while trying to gauge each others eyeballs out because they each want the same stinking toy and can't take turns and I never have to use silly threats to make them love each other.

So there is the week of wonder in our home. I hope you enjoy it and chuckle as we are all just trying to be honest and survive in this world of raising little people to live another day to become thriving adults. If you enjoyed this please join in over at MckMama's for more free therapy!

Not Me Monday

So... another edition of not me Monday. I enjoy telling my weaknesses as a mom to you. I enjoy reading about others which you can do too at MckMama's blog. It is fun to read about other's struggles and mess ups and enjoy knowing that you "aren't the ONLY one". So have a giggle with me as we enjoy...



I most certainly did not feed Leanna and Hudson frosting and cookies for breakfast on Saturday because that is what they asked me for. I would never do that because I prefer my children to eat healthy and balanced breakfasts. I also did NOT join them in this said breakfast because it of course did NOT look delicious (it also did NOT taste that way).

I also did NOT lay around my house in pajamas ALL weekend long because it felt good. I did NOT allow Leanna and Hudson to stay in their pajamas right along with me. We did NOT lay around and watch movies all day.

My son did not have a large number two accident in his pants (notice I said pants and not diaper or pull up) and leave my husband (who did not JUST arrive home from work) to deal with the cleanup of said child so I could continue visiting with my good friend. No I am the good mama who cleans all children and their messes right up.

I would never proceed in eating cookies and milk after the children have gone to bed and when one beautiful little blonde hair girl snuck back out on the couch with me I did NOT share the wonderful snack with her and not her brother.

I also did NOT turn fourteen shades of red when my daughter proceeded to tell a group of people that her mom farts at home and sometimes (she did not giggle and smile here) it is really loud.

Not Me Monday....I like it alot!

So this button above me is a really cool idea that MckMama came up with. So here is my first shot at it. If you would like to join in please feel free and comment and let me know so I can come and visit yours and relive and laugh at your craziness...

Here goes...

I did not take a shower yesterday morning to get ready for church and come out and find Hudson sans, pants, shoes, socks and diaper with a trail of urine up and down my hallway.

I did not lose my cool and yell at the children.

I did not have my daughter pray for me in her Sunday school class. In that same story line I did not have Leanna's sunday school teacher come up to me and say "Leanna's prayer request this morning was that her momma would be nicer to her and Hudson".

I did not proceed in going home and having a good pouting session until my husband came home.

I also did not proceed to eat 4 chocolate chip cookies (that my wonderful husband Josh made) knowing full good and well that I am on a diet.

So just to give you and idea that was just my Sunday. Since the son was half naked there will be no pictures with this post. So I hope you enjoyed a good laugh because at least today I can laugh at it. Seriously. Yesterday I just pouted and well cried a little too....
