She comes home from school excited to tell me about her day and the new things she has learned. There is always some super fun story along with a laugh or a giggle from my girl. To see her so happy and loving learning so much does this momma heart proud.
I was a major "nerd" when I was younger and I don't know if that has really changed much. I would still be going to school now if I could afford it. I love to learn and read and figure things out.
It has been my greatest wish for my children to love learning. Today I am thankful that this girl loves to learn.

Hooray!!! I love this post! Leanna is such a super student. I am thankful to have her in my class. She is one of the most kind and caring kindergarteners I have EVER met! She is EXTREMELY bright as well! Funny story today...She came up behind me to get a star on her work while I was sending an email to another teacher...Oh yeah, she could read it. (Nothing bad, of course...I just made a mental note of that one.) Way to go, Momma Brewer!

I was on facebook and she was reading over my shoulder all of the statuses that were there... I too had to make a mental note! It was insane that she can read so fluently and she loves to do it.
So Mrs. Renner you are doing a great job! Keep it up!
